Allow LAN: sharing the proxy with phones, tablets and consoles
Turning on Allow LAN (General page) makes Clash listen on all network interfaces instead of just 127.0.0.1, so other devices on your LAN can use your PC as their proxy server.
Connecting another device
- Find your PC's LAN address: run
ipconfigand read the Wi-Fi adapter's IPv4, e.g.192.168.1.23; - On the phone/tablet, set the Wi-Fi proxy to Manual, server = the PC's IP, port = 7890;
- iOS, Android, Switch and PS5 all have an equivalent proxy field in network settings.
Caveats
- The device must be on the same LAN, and the router must not have AP isolation enabled;
- Windows Firewall may prompt on first use — allow it; if there is no prompt and no connection, add an inbound rule for Clash manually;
- Shared traffic is routed by your rules and consumes your subscription quota;
- Never enable Allow LAN on public Wi-Fi (cafés, airports) — anyone on the network could use your proxy. Some builds offer authentication; on shared networks, set it or keep LAN off.
